|
Bridgestone Potenza RE050A is a max performance summer tire. For high-performance sedans, coupes and sports cars. Original Equipment (OE) on select vehicles like the Mercedes S55 AMG Sedan. Potenza RE050A is intended for use in dry and wet conditions, not snow or ice.
Bridgestone designed the tire to deliver superior dry and wet traction with responsive and predictable handling to complement high-performance sports cars. Also available in a run-flat version in some sizes.
Bridgestone Potenza RE050A Features
• consists of L.L. Carbon that utilizes a special form of molecular re-engineered carbon black, a key factor in improving tire wear while enhancing wet performance
• features UNI-T construction that improves handling in wet or dry conditions and reduces irregular treadwear by combining an ideal tread design, casing, shape, materials and construction
• Potenza RE050A offers a tread pattern that promotes rapid water evacuation
• Variable dimensions in the tread blocks and a smoother shape reduce noise
• features an asymmetrical tread pattern increases surface contact to enhance acceleration and cornering
