ExtremeContact DWS Description
|
Continental ExtremeContact DWS is an ultra high performance all season tire. For sports cars, sports coupes, performance sedans, SUVs and sport trucks. The ExtremeContact DWS is intended for use in dry, wet conditions, and light snow conditions.
Continental designed the ExtremeContact DWS to deliver good ride and serious performance in all year road conditions. Continental implants wear indicators in the second tread rib from the edge. A visible "DWS" indicates the tire has sufficient tread for most wet and snow conditions; when the W and S wear away the remaining "D" indicates the tire has tread sufficient for dry conditions only.
ExtremeContact DWS Features
• Asymmetric tread design combines with firm shoulder blocks and an additional inner rib to increase responsiveness and cornering stability
• Silica infused, high-traction all season tread compound improves year-round traction
• Multiple continuous ribs of the ExtremeContact DWS reduce noise and improve braking response
• 4 wide & deep circumferential grooves and notched shoulder blocks evacuate water effectively to improve wet weather traction
