Nokian WR G2 Description
|
Nokian WR G2 is a standard touring all season tire, with the highest winter rating. For sports cars, passenger cars, and hybrids. The WR G2 is intended for use in dry, wet and heavy snow conditions (carries the industry's severe snow service rating).
As its 3rd generation all-season tire, Nokian designed the WR G2 to be the optimal all-season tire leveraging Nokian's superb winter tire expertise. It incorporates superb dry pavement traction with extremely low rolling resistance (great for hybrids) into an environmentally-friendly tire that has also earned the industry's severe snow service rating which is unusual for an all-season tire. Nokian WR G2 is almost unique among all season tires in carrying the industry's severe snow rating, which is usually limited to winter tires.
Nokian WR G2 Features
• Environmentally-friendly: Nokian uses only low-aromatic, purified oils in its production
• Cool silica & Canola Oil compound results in exception grip properties
• Inside/outside tread: asymmetrical tread design provide more accurate driving control and effective hydroplane resistance in wet conditions
• Slush Wedge: a sharp wedge-like angle on the inner sidwall helps disperse water and slush from under the tire
• Low rolling resistance: saves fuel and improves driving comfort (noise & vibration)
• Improved dry road traction: while Nokian tires are known for their performance in extreme conditions, the WR G2 is excellent on dry roads - even at high speeds
• Mfr Ltd Treadwear warranty: 50,000 miles (H-rated only)
