|
Pirelli Sottozero Serie II is a performance winter tire. For high-performance sports cars, coupes, and performance sedans. Sottozero Serie II is intended for use in dry, wet, and wintry conditions - including severe snow weather.
Pirelli designed the Sottozero Serie II (Series 2) as the second-generation of its Sottozero (Below Zero) family of tires. The Sottozero Serie II provides enhanced performance in winter driving combined with the ability to perform in temperatures above freezing such as from autumn to early spring.
Sottozero Serie II Features:
• Tread compound features new polymers and aromatic-free emollients that are ecologically friendlier, and the Temperature Dynamic composition improves traction and stiffness
• Double band of wedges enhances stability and road adherence at speed and in braking conditions
• Three deep longitudinal grooves with differentiated profiles allow water to be expelled effectively even at high speeds
• IBS (Interactive Brickwork Siping): thick interlocking lamination improves traction on both snow and dry surfaces
• Substantial shoulder blocks of the Winter Sottozero Serie II provide high lateral rigidity during cornering, improving grip
• RMA-rated for severe snow service
