|
Yokohama AVID ENVigor is an all season tire offering both ultra high performance (W-speed rated tires) and high performance (H- and V-speed rated tires). For sports cars, coupes, passenger sedans, and crossover vehicles. As an all-season tire, AVID ENVigor is intended for use in dry, wet, and wintry light snow conditions.
Yokohama designed the AVID ENVigor as an optimal blend of all-season performance, fuel efficiency, enhanced comfort and long treadlife - utilizing the latest tire engineering advances. It replaces the popular AVID H4s, AVID V4s, and AVID W4S line. In Yokohama testing, the AVID ENVigor beat the following competitive tires in overall composites of braking, handling, skidding and roll resistance: Michelin Primacy MXV4, Bridgestone Turanza Serenity, Michelin Pilot Exalto A/S, and Bridgestone Potenza G019 Grid.
AVID ENVigor Features:
• Wet traction is improved by angled cuts in the groove walls that speed water evacuation and adaptive 3D sipes which change shape as the tire wears.
• Large unibloc shoulder enhances stiffness for improved handling on wet and dry roads.
• Tread block design of the AVID ENVigor incorporates six different size and shape variations strategically staggered to suppress pattern noise, for a smooth quiet ride.
• Continuous, tapered center rib provides a more stable 'on-center' feel and more comfortable ride.
• Treadlife is improved through a contact patch and advance silica compound which work together to maximize road contact across the tire surface.
• Advanced silica compound combined with the tire profile design provide low rolling resistance and increased fuel efficiency.
• Treadlife Warranty: 60,000 miles (H,V rated) and 45,000 miles (W rated)
